I was born in NYC to parents who emigrated to the US from Cuba in the early 60's. As a child growing up in New York, this was a magical place- Central Park, Times Square, The Statue of Liberty, the Hudson River, Yankee Stadium, Lincoln Center- these were some of my initial musings. We later moved to Miami for the warmth and the embrace of a city beginning to find its true north. There, I learned how to cook, dance, and live closer to a culture caught between the past and the future. My studies in High School under Catholic Jesuits exposed me to a great breadth of knowledge that inspired me to pursue the arts. Milan Kundera, Jorge Luis Borges, John Hejduk were some of my early influences. I decided to apply for Architecture and received a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Florida A&M, and later a Master of Architecture and Design and Computation from MIT. Upon graduation, I moved to Los Angeles, where building the impossible, with the likes of Morphosis Architects, Frank Gehry, and Disney Imagineering, has been my mantra, as my wife and I raise two boys who are everything in our lives.

I am a visionary, Creative Design Technology Leader driving ideas to fruition using technology solutions to innovate, transform, and integrate building design, project management, and team collaboration for large-scale complex projects. During a career spanning nearly three decades, I have deployed new Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies in the construction of an award-winning entertainment theme park for Walt Disney Imagineering in Shanghai China, and for both residential and commercial projects in Mexico, New York, Florida, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Udine, Italy. An astute business development executive who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and brings passion and visionary thinking to collaborative projects, inspiring employees to peak performance and cultivating a culture of innovation based on trust and integrity.
