Schnebly Winery is an agro-tourism destination owned by the Schebly family and has been operating for over a decade on more than 30 acres of land in the Redlands. It is situated 20 miles southwest of downtown Miami and northwest of Homestead, Florida. The winery is renowned for its high-quality and unique wines that are made from locally sourced tropical fruits. These wines reflect the unique terroir of the Redland area.
In 2011, they expanded their offerings by opening Miami Brewing Company, a fully operational brewery that produces flagship beers and craft beers made from tropical fruits like mango, guava, and passionfruit. Brewery tours allow visitors to sample various beers and buy bottles and cans to take home. The property also features a taproom and outdoor seating areas where guests can relax and enjoy a pint while enjoying the stunning views of the tropical landscape.
In 2022, the owners of Schnebly Winery, Peter and Denise Schnebly, were approached by Aurelio Rodriguez with a vision to transform the winery into a world-class destination. Rodriguez proposed adding a farm-to-table restaurant, a rum distillery,
a weddings and special events venue, and 5-star bungalow accommodations. To bring this vision to life, the Redlands Hospitality Group was formed, consisting of highly qualified individuals and investors, including the Schneblys.
